This year help us celebrate Historic Boulder’s future with our own Twelve Days of Giving. Each day, we’ll share how your gift directly impacts Historic Boulder’s mission and endeavors in our community.
All donations over $100 will receive our 2017 calendar:
Built to Last – Buildings by Boulder Architects
On the fourth day: Sustainability
The construction, operation and demolition of buildings accounts for well over 40% of the United States’ carbon dioxide emissions. Reusing and retrofitting our existing built resources is the first step to cutting these emissions and ensuring that our community is more sustainable. Your gift today contributes to both Historic Boulder’s financial sustainability and Boulder’s sustainability goals. The greenest building is the one already built.
When you help save a building, you help save the planet.
Your donation matters.
When the beloved Arnett-Fullen house, built in 1877, was up for auction in 1992, Historic Boulder was the successful bidder out of 37 submitted bids. It served as HB’s office for more than a decade until it was sold to wonderful stewards in 2005.
