On the eleventh day: Sense of Place
Everyone has a place that’s important to them. A place they care about. A place that matters. Places like the Boulder Theater, Hotel Boulderado, the Union Pacific Depot, Chautauqua and the Arnett-Fullen House. For nearly 45 years, Historic Boulder, Inc. has helped save important places and stories that celebrate our community’s unique, colorful history. Thanks to our work and people like you there are now over 180 individual landmarks and 10 historic districts. None of this would have been possible without the commitment and financial support of members and friends of preservation and Historic Boulder.
Won’t you help us to continue our legacy of honoring Boulder’s sense of place?
This place matters. Your donation matters.
After years of being boarded up and neglected and then more than fives of rehabilitation, a wonderful family moved into the Hannah Barker house in October who loves the story about Hannah and her house as much as we do. HB’s most ambitious rehabilitation project so far, would not be possible without the generous support of members of the community like you and grants from the State Historical Fund and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. After the resounding success of saving one of Boulder’s oldest and most historic homes, we’re ready for the next project!
