Again by Popular Demand!  Historic Boulder will reprise our guided walking tour highlighting some of Boulder’s best Mid-Century Modern buildings in the center of town.

Architect Leonard Segel will highlight the history and features of several important Modernist Buildings downtown.  The contributions of architects whose designs made Boulder what it is today include Glen H. Huntington, Hobart Wagener, Cab Childress, Charles Haertling, James Hunter, and Roger Easton.

Leonard Segel is also the Executive Director of Historic Boulder.  He is a founding board member of the Modern Architecture Preservation League of Colorado, coauthor of “Historic Context and Survey of Modern Architecture in Boulder,” and founding board member of the Colorado Chapter of DOCOMOMO. Just for fun he likes to look at and talk about great design.
